BT Redcare is one of the most secure systems currently available and is suitable for accommodation or commercial premises. The Secure system is available at three different levels (Grade 2, 3 and 4), depending on the level of risk to the premises you are protecting.
Redcare GSM offers a very high protection level via its ‘dual path’ signal monitoring and is suitable for both commercial and care properties that want a premium level of protection. It offers an extra level of protection using both a mobile phone network and GSM to check that the alarm system is working. This means that if one path is unavailable (the land line is cut, for example) the system will use the other path to deliver the alarm trigger. Any fault detected triggers an immediate notification to the alarm receiving centre.
Unlike other alarm monitoring services, Redcare also provides encryption to prevent the substitution of equipment or “spoofing” of line conditions. To take advantage of Redcare GSM you will require a BT phone line.
