Job Title: Service Engineer

Location: East Midlands

Salary: £28,000 – £38,000 DOE

Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week, including participation on an emergency call out rota

Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays

Are you an experienced Service Engineer looking for a role where your expertise is appreciated and your work-life balance matters? APS Security is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our team, delivering high-quality service and support on fire and security systems across the East Midlands.

About the Role:

As a Fire and Security Service Engineer at APS Security, you will:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a variety of fire and security systems to industry standards
• Complete minor repairs and adjustments to keep systems fully operational
• Respond to emergency callouts in line with our on-call rota
• Maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and professionalism
• Ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory requirements

About You:

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with fire and/or security systems, with the ability to service and maintain a range of equipment
• Location: The East Midlands, with the ability to travel locally to client sites
• Skills: Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently
• Attitude: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a customer-first mindset
• Desirable: Knowledge of systems such as Advanced, Kentec, Galaxy, Pyronix, Hikvision, or Paxton would be an advantage
