Usually, yes. We maintain most major access control systems regardless of who fitted them. If a system is genuinely beyond economic repair we will tell you that on survey rather than quoting to replace it by default.
Most sites stay open throughout. Doors are done one at a time and remain usable overnight. Where downtime is not acceptable at all, we install out of hours or at weekends.
Access-controlled doors are interfaced with the fire alarm so they release automatically on activation, with green break-glass units on escape routes. This is a legal requirement and is included in every quote as standard.

Usually, yes. Our engineers maintain most major access control systems regardless of who originally fitted them. We will inspect the installation first, explain any immediate risks and only recommend replacement where repair is no longer sensible.
We test readers, locks, door alignment, controllers, power supplies, backup batteries, exit devices and fire-alarm release interfaces. We also check the management software, user records and event logs, apply appropriate software or firmware updates, and document anything that needs attention.
Annual servicing is suitable for many workplaces. High-traffic doors, critical entrances and multi-site systems may benefit from more frequent visits. We will recommend a schedule based on usage, risk and the door hardware fitted.
We diagnose the fault, make the entrance safe and secure, and repair or replace the failed component. Maintenance customers can choose response options including 24/7 emergency callout for critical faults.
A contract is not required, but planned servicing helps prevent disruptive failures and gives you clear service records. We offer cover at different response levels, or can quote for individual service and repair visits.
