If you’ve seen our vans out and about recently, you may have noticed that things are looking a little different!
Over the past few months, we’ve been refreshing our fleet with new vans featuring our updated branding and colour scheme. While some of our trusted older vans are still very much part of the team, seeing the old and new side by side is a great reminder of how our business continues to evolve.
Our original vans have been with us through countless jobs and have played a huge part in helping us build the reputation we’re proud of today. They continue to serve us well, and they’ll remain an important part of our fleet as we continue to grow.
The addition of our new vans is about more than just updating our appearance. They represent our ongoing investment in the business, helping us improve efficiency, reliability, and the overall service we provide to our customers. The fresh branding also reflects who we are today—a modern, growing business that’s always looking for ways to improve.
Although our look is changing, our values remain exactly the same. We’re still committed to providing the friendly, reliable, and professional service our customers have always known us for. This fleet refresh is just one of the exciting developments.
Looking Back, Moving Forward

Over the past few months, we’ve made some exciting improvements to our fleet, replacing our older vans with a brand-new, modern fleet.
Looking at our old and new vans side by side really highlights how far we’ve come. Our previous vans served us incredibly well over the years, helping us support our customers every day. They’ll always be a big part of our journey, and we’re grateful for everything they helped us achieve.
Our new vans have already made a real difference. They offer improved reliability, greater efficiency, and a professional new look that reflects the high standards we aim to deliver. Investing in our fleet is just one of the ways we’re continuing to improve our service and ensure we’re ready for the future.
This wasn’t just about replacing vehicles—it was about investing in our business, our team, and our customers. Every improvement we make is focused on providing an even better experience for the people who trust us.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but we’re even more excited about what’s ahead. The new fleet marks another milestone in our journey, and it’s just one of many improvements we’re making as we continue to grow and develop.
A huge thank you to all of our customers for your continued support. We look forward to serving you for many years to come—and we’re excited to see where the road takes us next.
As part of National Apprenticeship Week, APS Security is proud to celebrate the apprentices across our business who are developing new skills, building confidence and shaping their future careers within the fire and security industry.
Apprenticeships play an important role at APS and the Obsequio Group, not only for those starting out in their careers but also for individuals looking to develop their knowledge, gain recognised qualifications and progress within their existing roles. This year, we’re shining a spotlight on three of our apprentices — Sophie Leggat, Deanna Birtles, and Josh McLoughlin — each at different stages of their careers, but all benefiting from the opportunities apprenticeships provide.
For Sophie, choosing an apprenticeship offered the opportunity to gain practical experience while continuing to learn.
“I prefer the idea of an apprenticeship to attending university because it allows me to work and learn at the same time,” she explains. “Some of the skills I’ve gained couldn’t have been learned in a classroom environment.”
When Sophie found out she had secured her apprenticeship, she was excited about the opportunity to develop new skills while gaining real workplace experience.
Since starting her apprenticeship, Sophie has seen significant personal development, particularly in areas that are essential to a busy administrative role.
“I have improved my time management skills, allowing me to balance college work with my day-to-day responsibilities,” she says. “I’ve also become more confident when speaking to customers on the phone, as I was very nervous when I first started.”
Her communication skills have continued to develop too, with improvements in email communication and customer interaction giving her greater confidence in her role.
Looking ahead, Sophie is excited to complete her apprenticeship and see where the skills she has gained will take her next. Her advice for anyone considering a similar path is simple: “Be open to learning and don’t be scared to ask questions. An apprenticeship gives you loads of hands-on experience, so make the most of it and learn as you go.”
Apprenticeships are not only for school leavers, and Deanna’s experience demonstrates how valuable they can be for career development at any stage.
Having worked at APS for over two years, Deanna decided to return to formal learning 15 years after leaving school through her Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship, and has admitted that she’s surprised herself at how much she enjoys the academic side.
“My biggest surprise has been how much I have enjoyed writing reports again,” she explains. “Researching topics and making notes has actually been fun.”
For Deanna, the apprenticeship is about building confidence and recognising the value of the knowledge and experience she already has.
“I’m looking forward to building my confidence within my work and believing that I do actually know what I’m doing,” she says.
Her advice to others considering an apprenticeship later in their career is encouraging and honest: “Don’t hesitate. If you’re not going into the apprenticeship straight from school it can seem daunting, but your experience can really help with your learning. Just be willing to learn.”
For Josh, an apprenticeship offered the chance to learn in a practical, hands-on environment while building a strong foundation for the future.
“I like to work hands on, so I felt an apprenticeship was best for me as I can work and earn an income while learning as well,” he says. “It will benefit you to get qualifications to earn you a better future.”
When Josh secured his apprenticeship, he was eager to get started. “I was very excited when I found out – I had the mindset and was ready to get started. I couldn’t wait to get stuck in.”
One of the biggest surprises for Josh has been how quickly his skills developed.
“After a few months on my apprenticeship I could do things I never thought I’d be able to do so soon,” he explains.
Looking ahead, Josh is focused on continuing to build his technical knowledge, gaining qualifications and developing the skills needed to become a fully qualified engineer. His advice to others is straightforward: “Just go for it. Don’t stress too much -you’re capable of anything.”
Apprenticeships continue to play an important role in supporting both individual development and the long-term future of the industry. At APS, investing in people is seen as a key part of maintaining high standards and creating opportunities for career progression across the business.
As Managing Director Jenny Mair explains:
“Apprenticeships are incredibly important to APS Security because they allow people to develop real, practical skills while building confidence in their roles. Whether someone is starting their career or developing further within the business, apprenticeships create opportunities for growth that benefit both the individual and the wider team. We’re proud of the commitment our apprentices show and the progress they continue to make.”
The experiences of Sophie, Deanna and Josh demonstrate the flexibility and value of apprenticeships across different roles and career stages. Whether starting a career, developing existing skills or moving into a technical role, apprenticeships provide a structured pathway for growth while supporting the long-term future of the fire and security industry.
At APS, we’re proud to support our apprentices as they develop the skills, confidence and experience needed to succeed. During National Apprenticeship Week, we celebrate not only the qualifications achieved, but the commitment and progress made along the way.
The festive season is a time when workplaces across the UK transform their offices into warm, welcoming spaces filled with lights, decorations, and celebration. But behind the tinsel and twinkling LEDs lies an often-overlooked reality: this time of year brings a spike in both fire and intruder false alarms.
From overloaded plug sockets to decorations drifting in the air-conditioning flow, it doesn’t take much to disrupt a busy office with an unnecessary alarm activation. That’s why, as businesses prepare to wind down for the festive season, it’s essential to make safety part of your festive planning.
At APS, we help organisations keep their premises secure, their systems functioning reliably, and their staff protected all year round. Here’s how you can enjoy a safe, compliant, and false-alarm-free December.
December introduces several new factors into the office environment: more electrical items, more movement, more heat sources, and more decorations in unusual places. These all increase the likelihood of both fire and intruder alarms triggering unnecessarily.
Here are the most common causes:
Fairy lights and illuminated decorations can cause overheating, especially if they’re old, damaged, or low-quality. Faults in wiring can produce smoke or heat that fire detectors register even without a real fire.
Hanging garlands, ceiling decorations, or paper decorations can shift with airflow from vents or heaters. After hours, these slow movements can easily trip intruder sensors designed to capture subtle motion.
Placing decorations too close to radiators or desk lamps may trigger heat detectors or create enough warmth to be interpreted as a fault by your system.
Extra decorations, gifts, or festive displays can obstruct detector heads, fire escape routes, or alarm panels – which affects system performance and may cause faults or false activations.
With a few simple precautions, businesses can reduce the risk of disruptive alarm activations and keep teams safe throughout December.
Look for CE or UKCA markings and avoid lights that are years old or have frayed cables. Replace any sets that flicker, overheat, or behave unpredictably.
Avoid hanging decorations near:
Even a slowly rotating decoration can trigger an alarm once the office is empty.
Ensure all festive items are positioned well away from:
This reduces both fire risk and accidental alarm activations.
Christmas is the time when plug sockets work overtime. Add timers, extension leads, chargers, and lighting together and you may exceed safe limits.
To prevent issues:
If you’re placing displays around the office, ensure that:
Clear access is not only vital for compliance but fundamentally, it protects lives.
Regular servicing is the most reliable way to keep false alarms at bay. A well-maintained system is more resilient to seasonal environmental changes and more effective at detecting real risks.
At APS Security, we provide:
With our engineering teams looking after your critical systems, businesses can enjoy the festive period without inconvenient disruptions or emergency response callouts caused by false alarms.
Many offices close for several days over the Christmas break, leaving buildings unoccupied and more vulnerable to faults or intrusions.
Before closing your doors:
A few minutes of preparation now can prevent a frustrating call-out on Christmas Eve.
This time of year should be about celebration, not disruption. By taking a safety-first approach to your festive decorations and keeping your alarm systems well maintained, you can ensure your office remains joyful, compliant, and false-alarm free.
APS is here to support you throughout the season and beyond. If you’d like tailored advice or need to arrange servicing before the holidays, our team is ready to help. Contact us today to keep your workplace safe this festive season.

Security cameras are one of the most effective deterrents against crime, but only if they can see what’s going on. During the day, most cameras perform well, delivering clear and detailed footage. However, when the sun goes down, visibility can quickly become a challenge. So the question is: are your cameras still protecting you effectively at night?
CCTV cameras rely on available light to capture images. In well-lit environments, that’s rarely an issue. But in low-light conditions such as alleyways, car parks, warehouses, or rural locations, standard cameras can struggle.
Some of the most common issues include:
These problems create a dangerous gap in your security when you need it most. After all, many intrusions, thefts, and incidents occur once the sun has set.
Not all cameras are created equal, and the term “night vision” can sometimes be misleading. Understanding the different types of cameras available helps ensure you choose the right solution for your environment:
The right solution depends on your environment. For example, a busy retail car park may benefit from colour night vision cameras for clear identification, while a remote site might require thermal imaging to detect unauthorised activity.
The true value of CCTV is in prevention, and ensuring that footage is usable if or when you need it. Poor-quality nighttime footage can have serious consequences including:
High-quality nighttime surveillance ensures your security system is working 24/7, giving you peace of mind that your site is protected and not just during daylight hours.
If you’re unsure how effective your cameras are after dark, here are some steps to strengthen your setup:
At APS Security, we understand that a security system is only as strong as its weakest link and for many businesses, that weak point is visibility at night. That’s why we partner with trusted manufacturers to deliver CCTV systems that keep performing when you need them most.
As an authorised Hikvision installer, we provide access to some of the most advanced CCTV technology on the market. Hikvision’s low-light cameras are engineered with cutting-edge features such as:
By choosing APS, you’re not just getting a camera system – you’re investing in a security solution tailored to your environment, installed and maintained by experts who understand the unique challenges of nighttime surveillance.
We can review your existing setup, highlight any vulnerabilities, and recommend upgrades that ensure you’re not left in the dark when it comes to protecting your people, property, and assets.
Are your cameras as good when it’s dark? Contact APS Security today for a professional CCTV solutions and discover how Hikvision’s advanced technology can enhance your night-time protection.

NSI NACOSS Gold approved companies operate to a “higher bar” than many other certification schemes. This means APS Security’s clients can be assured of not only compliance, but also robust systems, ongoing support, and responsive service.
By choosing APS Security, customers benefit from working with a provider that:

As the evenings draw in and the clocks prepare to go back, the darker months bring more than just cooler weather – they mark the start of a new season of risk for UK businesses. Reduced daylight hours, quieter streets, and longer nights all create the perfect environment for opportunistic crime to thrive.
For many businesses, this time of year is when weak spots are most exposed. At APS, we see it every autumn: as visibility drops, crime rises. But with the right awareness and preparation, your business can stay one step ahead.
The latest Commercial Victimisation Survey (CVS), published by the Home Office in 2023, reveals a worrying trend. Around 26% of business premises in England and Wales experienced at least one crime in the past year. Theft remains the most common offence (14%), followed by burglary and vandalism (both at 8%).
Some sectors are hit harder than others. In wholesale and retail, 41% of businesses reported being affected by crime – often repeatedly. Customer theft alone accounted for roughly a quarter of all incidents, with some premises experiencing it on a daily basis.
The financial impact is substantial. Research carried out by Safe.co.uk found that UK businesses collectively lost over £12.9 billion to burglary and theft in just one year, more than three times the estimated cost of cybercrime. Yet despite these losses, only one in five businesses reported being fully insured against theft-related damage or disruption.
The message is clear: as the days get shorter, the risks get higher.
While crime happens year-round, the seasonal shift into autumn and winter amplifies existing weaknesses. Fewer daylight hours mean more time for offenders to operate under cover of darkness. Reduced footfall around retail parks, industrial estates, and construction sites creates quieter conditions that make suspicious activity less noticeable.
Many businesses also operate on shorter hours or skeleton staff in the evenings, which leaves properties unmonitored for longer periods. Combine this with poor lighting, outdated CCTV, or unmaintained alarm systems, and the risks multiply quickly.
Even seemingly minor incidents like vandalism or trespassing can escalate if security measures aren’t in place, and with longer nights stretching from October to March, prevention becomes far easier than cure.
The good news? Most seasonal security risks can be mitigated with proactive planning. Start with your site’s most visible deterrents. Well-lit premises are significantly less likely to be targeted, so ensure that entrances, pathways, and loading areas are illuminated with motion sensors or time-controlled lighting.
Next, assess your CCTV systems. Cameras with night vision or infrared capabilities are invaluable during low-light conditions. They not only act as a deterrent but also provide clear evidence if an incident occurs. If your cameras are older, a professional service can check performance, reposition lenses, or recommend upgrades to improve coverage.
Alarm systems and remote monitoring are another key layer of protection. A maintained, properly configured alarm linked to a monitoring centre ensures fast response times when every second counts. Similarly, reviewing your access control systems helps you manage who can enter your site after hours and track movements securely.
Finally, remember that maintenance is your best friend as many businesses often discover faults only after an incident occurs. Scheduling a professional system health check before winter sets in keeps everything running smoothly when it matters most.
For nearly three decades, APS Security has helped organisations across the UK fortify their premises against seasonal risks. We combine technical expertise with hands-on experience to deliver tailored protection that fits your site and your operations.
Our CCTV and surveillance systems provide crystal-clear visibility using the latest infrared and intelligent motion analytics. Our intruder alarms are integrated with 24/7 remote monitoring, ensuring real-time alerts and immediate escalation when needed.
We also design and install access control solutions that give you full command over entry points, staff permissions, and visitor management. And because prevention is only as good as upkeep, our maintenance and inspection services keep your security infrastructure performing reliably throughout the year.
If you’re unsure where to start, APS offers a free site assessment that identifies vulnerabilities across lighting, surveillance, alarms, and perimeter protection. You’ll receive a clear report and recommendations to strengthen your site before the clocks go back.
As daylight fades earlier each evening, it’s easy to overlook the growing risks around your premises. But by taking simple, informed steps now, you can avoid costly disruptions later.
With expert support from APS, your business doesn’t have to face the darker months unprepared. Whether it’s a system upgrade, a full site audit, or simply the reassurance that your existing security is performing as it should, our team is here to help you stay safe, visible, and confident all year round.
Contact APS Security today to ensure your business is protected as the nights draw in.

Intruder alarms are one of the most effective deterrents against unauthorised access and burglary. The external bell box, in particular, plays a key role – both as a visual warning and an audible alert. Pyronix, a long-standing leader in security innovation, has now introduced updates to its Deltabell range of sounders, streamlining installation and boosting performance across the board.
The Pyronix Deltabell is a high-spec external sounder, designed for both residential and commercial use. With recent updates across the range, these units now offer improved deterrence, easier installation, and compliance with security standards. The enhancements help ensure both functional protection and professional presentation – without adding complexity to the setup.
Backlit Cover & Flashing LED:
The new illuminated design makes the Deltabell highly visible at night, reinforcing its presence as a deterrent. Integrated light-dependent resistors (LDRs) manage brightness automatically, helping preserve power during daylight hours.
Simplified Installation:
A built-in spirit level and rotating drill guide holes allow for level, accurate mounting in less time – ideal for engineers and property owners who value efficiency.
Multi-point Tamper Protection:
The bell box includes three-way tamper detection for lid removal, wall tampering, and power interference, ensuring any breach attempt is immediately recognised and logged.
Battery Backup:
Each unit is equipped with a long-lasting NiMH battery backup, offering 2–5 years of reliable emergency operation in the event of power failure.
Loud Output & Auto Cut-Off:
A 104dBA sounder delivers a powerful audible warning, with a 15-minute cut-off feature that meets regulatory standards for alarm duration.
As part of this product refresh, Pyronix has introduced more sustainable design practices into the Deltabell range. From streamlined packaging that reduces waste to more energy-efficient internal components, these updates help minimise environmental impact. The improved power management features also contribute to longer battery life and lower energy consumption – small changes with a larger collective impact.
While internal sensors detect threats, the external bell box serves as your building’s first line of defence – clearly broadcasting that a professionally installed security system is in place. With enhanced lighting and a modern design, the updated Deltabell doesn’t just perform well – it looks the part, too.
The upgraded Deltabell range includes models rated to Grade 2 and Grade 3 EN50131 standards, making them suitable for both general use and higher-risk environments. These ratings ensure compliance with professional benchmarks for tamper protection, performance, and reliability.
APS Security is a trusted distributor and accredited installer of Pyronix systems, with years of experience integrating their products into homes, offices, and commercial spaces. Our close relationship with Pyronix ensures we stay up to date with product developments and best practices – so you benefit from both the latest technology and expert advice. We bring deep product knowledge and hands-on experience in designing and installing effective alarm systems. Furthermore, work closely with our clients to ensure each installation meets the specific needs of the site – whether it’s a single home or a multi-site commercial portfolio.
What We Offer:
The latest Deltabell upgrades combine smarter design with stronger deterrence and better long-term efficiency. Whether you’re planning a new security system or updating an existing one, APS Security is here to help you get the most out of this new generation of external sounders.
Get in touch with our team to find out how the new Deltabell range can fit into your security strategy.

Our most recent testimonials:
Jonno did a great job today - he sorted the recorder, managed to get several cameras working which weren't previously working, and he helped me get the cameras on my phone. He did a fantastic job.
Dear Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally commend your fire alarm engineer Jay for the exceptional service provided at Steps Together The Chestnuts on Friday 12.06.26 Jay arrived promptly to conduct our system installation and equipment testing. Throughout the visit, their professionalism, technical expertise, and attention to detail were exemplary. They diagnosed and resolved our system issues efficiently while taking the time to clearly explain the work being performed. What impressed me most was their dedication to safety and customer care. Jay meticulously tested every component, ensured our premises were left completely tidy, and patiently waited for a client to complete a one-to-one meeting with their therapist before testing the fire alarm. It is rare to encounter such a high level of dedication and professionalism. Jay is a tremendous asset to your company and has thoroughly earned our trust. Please pass along my sincere thanks and recognition to them for a job well done.
Can I just say how impressed I was with Kev France the installer - he was fantastic and tried his hardest to make a really good job.
The alarm issue beginning, to seeking your help, then getting the issue diagnosed, repaired & even being billed via email & our payment of it, must be some sort of record? As I’m pretty sure all this wasn't much over an hour from the problem beginning to contacting APS and getting our system back in full working order!
Your sales consultant visited us today to look at our CCTV requirements, We found the young man to be really informative, honest and knowledgeable and we welcomed his suggestions.
We were very confident in the services discussed and have placed an order to proceed with the works.
A truly pleasant experience from start to finish, thank you.
I have to say that you are the most efficient and easiest company to deal with, especially over the other alarm companies we have on site – I'm constantly trying to get it all moved over to you! Samantha
After repeated poor advice and service from another company we asked Chris Bee to look over the panel and sensors at our Long Eaton office; this was done promptly, resulting in a sensible proposal and we ordered the work to be done. All very satisfactory... we're now talking with Chris about another little project at another office!
The chap that came was brill. Very helpful, jolly and knew exactly what to do. A credit to your company.
Your engineer competed the test this morning, what a professional, pleasant young man he was, a credit to your company 👍
Fantastic service, John our engineer was very knowledgeable and polite, we are so pleased that we decided to go with APS, having good staff like John gives us confidence in the system.
We had an engineer called Kevin F come to site end of Aug 2022 and right from the beginning, he was very friendly, professional. He went above and beyond to answer our questions and ensured we understood our intercom system before he left. Usually when dealing with engineers, they are on a clock and need to get to another job, he was calm and considerate and would love to have him back if and when required!
Fantastic service, John our engineer was very knowledgeable and polite, he explained the problem with our CCTV in and easy way, I will be using APS again, great service.
Just a note to say a big thanks to APS for your assistance and completed work. The service has been very professional and Dec who has been here on site this week was very good.
We recently had a new intruder and fire alarm fitted in the premises that I manage. For such a large job there was minimal disturbance and the engineers were more than happy to work around our business requirements. The whole process from beginning to end was managed with a high level of professionalism and I would have no doubt in recommending APS to anyone who is looking for similar services.
We have trusted APS with our fire safety, alarm and CCTV for many years now. A great company and very quick to react to any issues that we have with excellent staff throughout the business. Engineers are polite, knowledgeable, organised and experienced. Our business manager Tom Warrilow, having previously been an engineer, has the technical knowledge to be able to assist, advise and implement any requests that we throw at him. A pleasure to deal with APS from start to finish and I would highly recommend them.
Just to say thanks for sorting the alarms out, I would like to add that Dillon has been a pleasure. Great attitude and very polite in all areas.
Service from start to finish was excellent, knowledgeable on the options available and very competitive cost. Install completed on time and good follow up from APS after the installation, would highly recommend them.
I am writing to say Thank You for the brilliant level of service I have received from your company, I rang yesterday with an issue and the lady who answered was really helpful and got things sorted quickly. I spoke to an engineer on the phone who tried to sort the issue but we needed a new sensor fitting, this was done this morning by an engineer he was really helpful and polite and showed what he had done etc and didn’t leave until everything had tested ok. We have our alarm regularly serviced by you and can honestly say we have never had a bad experience with everyone who visits have a high standard of workmanship, professional and a credit to your company. The alarm system and back up we receive from your company is fantastic and would be grateful if you could pass on my thanks to all your team.
George is a very conscientious, polite and efficient engineer that worked in a clean, safe and timely manner. Despite it being a Friday evening when usually everyone one is in a hurry to get off and start the weekend, George stayed to complete by tidying and vacuuming the area he had worked in. He took pride in his work and left the site as good as he could.
The chap that came was brill. Very helpful, jolly and knew exactly what to do. A credit to your company.
Myself and my colleagues are very impressed with the service received. From start to finish, everything was very professional and completed very efficiently. The engineer was outstanding, he arrived early both days and cracked on with minimal noise and mess. He made sure all staff members knew how to use the system before leaving and reassured us that we would be able to contact him should any problems arise.
Excellent engineer yesterday and this morning. Conscientious, hardworking, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Both the junior engineers that visited were also pleasant lads.
Excellent from start to finish. Understood exactly what we needed and provided a very well priced solution. Engineers were fab! Thanks to both Curtis and Kev 🙂
You guys have been great from start to finish and would certainly use your services going forward. Thanks for your efforts both on and off site .
Dec and Luke were very professional and courteous, a credit to themselves and APS.
Kev has done a fantastic job with the cameras, Jade and I are extremely pleased! Kind regards Andy Wyatt Managing Director
Just thought I'd drop you a line to say we're very happy with the CCTV installation that Dylan and George completed on Friday.
Whilst I am emailing, could you please pass on my thanks to the engineer who came last week. The service we received from him was great.
Your engineer, Kevin, was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and was determined to ensure everything was working as well as it could be and that I knew how to use the system. He was here for a long time and I can't sing his praises enough. I hope you will pass this feedback on to him and also to his uplines -he's a credit to your company.
The engineer that was sent to fix our alarm was brilliant - couldn't speak more highly of the company!
We had a complex set up and requirements for a new fire alarm system, which needed a very detailed and tailored spec. This was accomplished by site visits with everyone involved, agreement to what was required and where it was to be sited plus much more. I have to say that the agreements were carried out to the last detail. The engineers on the day were conscientious and hard working, Jamie was friendly and helpful throughout (and since), the system is brilliant and the price was very competitive. Fully recommend APS.
Very good service!
Gemma B – Procurement Manager
Very professional from the start of the sales process right through to the installation of the door access controls. The engineer was particularly courteous and helpful. Would highly recommend.
Good job all round from sale to install. Salesman Jamie very informative on products available and information. Good tidy install and after install tuition as promised.
We have just transferred all of our security management to APS and from the outset the service has been exemplary. Over the past week or so we have had engineers on site who have been so professional in the mammoth task that they have had to carry out. A big thank you to Ash, Jenny and the team at HQ, who have answered queries really quickly. Also a big thank you to Martin (CCTV & Intruder engineer) & Jordan(Fire Safety engineer) for being so accommodating to our needs whilst on site.
Brilliant service from the initial quote to the installation. The staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to insure we got our system in place and up and running. Particular mentions to Jamie and Rachel whom I dealt with a lot throughout the process. Would highly re...
I contacted Jamie, and his help was invaluable, he was fast to come out and look at the job, and there work was so professional and he helped liaise with the fire officers of Derby. They have been fantastic and I can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you.
Very pleased with the quality of work & standard of service we are getting from APS. Everyone we have come into contact with, from sales & admin, through to the tech & service teams have been helpful & friendly. We first came into contact with APS when they took over the monitoring & maintenance of our alarm systems. Soon after we started taking to them about CCTV and it wasn't long before they installed us a new 4 camera system. To complete the circle, they have just completed work on a new, very easy to use, door entry system.
APS have completed a number of CCTV, alarm and personal protection systems for our organisation, and we have always found the company to be flexible, efficient, and very easy to deal with. The team is friendly, accessible, and knowledgeable. Their prices are very competitive too!
Good price, excellent installation and really nice people to deal with. Its so rare these days to find polite people who clean up and have pride in their job; well done APS. At the end of the job there was an internal "audit" and I found this especially impressive.
Fantastic service from start to finish!
Good service and product from a local business. Product was fitted efficiently and within budget.
I am very pleased to say that from the initial call to Chris to the completion of the full fire and burglar alarm installation everything went without a hitch. The team of engineers were very helpful and professional, I would certainly recommend them to any company looking for the services that APS provide, we have already asked for a quote for another site.
Really pleased with the whole process, from beginning to end. The engineer was very polite and did a great job, leaving everywhere very clean and tidy. Thank you!
We chose APS after a Tender Process. The service that we received from start to finish during the tender process and installation was fantastic. All of their staff are polite, efficient and professional, nothing is too much trouble. The installation engineer who attended our site was helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. He was also very clean and tidy and cleaned up as he went around, we hardly knew he was there. Brilliant, fantastic service.
APS Engineers have had to visit some of our high complex hostels and have carried out all works with the satisfaction from our Service Managers, and all works were carried out professionally, with care, precision and without disruption or incident to our organisations operations. I can recommend him highly and without reservation. APS are very flexible to their response (turning orders around in quick time) and they are extremely clean and tidy in the workplace and never left any of our properties in disarray.
I originally came across APS while is was an Estates Manager for a large Educational Academy in Nottingham city. The companies that I inherited where not up to scratch, they would never repair our systems when we had called them out. This created huge admin issues trying to keep an eye on what they still had outstanding. APS and Chris are fantastic at what they do, the technical knowledge from sales to engineers is second to none. They came to site and repaired 98% of all issues they where called out for and I was told what need to be done to correct the other 2% of issues. . I can not recommend them highly enough. I have moved on and I am currently a Director at Inspire Gymnastics Academy and I have ensured the APS are our preferred Fire and Intruder Alarm Company. When we have hundreds of young gymnasts through our doors each night the systems must be spot on and I know Chris and the APS team will deliver. We will not go anywhere else. Thank you for your service and dedication to quality work.
All work has been finished professionally on time and very friendly staff with no business interruptions at all. Chris Bee, was very helpful and Tom the engineer came after installations on 2-3 occasions to help us with additional training. I can recommend this company highly to anyone knowing their service and aftersales. Once again thanks to APS and their staff.
After repeated poor advice and service from another company we asked Chris Bee to look over the panel and sensors at our Long Eaton office; this was done promptly, resulting in a sensible proposal and we ordered the work to be done. All very satisfactory... we're now talking with Chris about another little project at another office!
We had been with Chubb for over thirty year but their service became so bad so we sought three quotes for a new system. APS were very slightly more costly than the other quotes BUT were far superior in their presentation. Chris Bee, their rep, was exceptionally helpful - had all the right advice and offered very good suggestions. We needed a fast installation as Chubb had let us down and APS had the new system in an working within three days. Their installation engineers were also very helpful and took care with the work - one guy took a hoover around cleaning up as they worked in each area. Try phoning their office - the Ladies who answer the phone are cheerful, friendly and know their jobs All in all - a very professional and caring service - I would give them more than a "five" Kevin
We chose APS after a thorough and detailed ‘tender' process because we could tell at an early stage the level of professionalism and customer care we were signing up to. A year has passed and I can safely say our trust was not misplaced. Their office staff are efficient, the engineers are polite, knowledgeable and are willing to support our branches with ad-hoc training when it is required. The working relationship between our two companies is the best we could hope for in terms of understanding each other's requirements and limitations. APS have proven they can adapt to a company's needs without impacting their level of service and customer commitment. We would happily recommend APS Fire & Security to other businesses.
